On 17 March 2016 Minister Enoch announced more outstanding individuals selected as Advance Queensland Community Digital Champions in Parliament.

Our newest champions will help other Queenslanders reap the rewards of using digital technologies in their everyday lives and improve digital adoption across the state.

They range from seniors helping their community to become more digitally savvy and participate online to students who are acting as mentors and encouraging other young Queenslanders to be innovators and creators of technology, not just consumers.

The champions include a researcher involved in mobile health innovation for the prevention of cardio disease, an indigenous Queenslander helping to preserve local languages through an App as well as a range of small business operators who are using digital technology to improve business efficiencies, access global markets and sharing this knowledge with others.

From across the state, our champions are involved in the community care, health, tourism, manufacturing and education sectors. They include multicultural and indigenous Queenslanders.

Be inspired by these individuals and their commitment to help others in the community—www.qld.gov.au/digitalchampions
