A dedicated digital media educator
For more than 20 years, Steven Pace has been inspiring, innovating and informing in the field of digital media education and research.
Steven is associate professor and head of digital media at Central Queensland University’s Mackay campus. Steven is held in high regard as a leading educator and has received many accolades and awards including the National ICT Educator of the Year and the Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.
Steven extends his passion for digital media education beyond the university walls by actively engaging with school students, local businesses and community groups.

As a digital champion, Steven will continue to encourage a deeper knowledge of digital media technologies in his many roles as researcher, teacher, digital education and training expert, and public speaker.
He also plans to continue with his community workshops, combining valuable hands-on experience with an insight into how digital technologies are reshaping our future.
